Management Accountant

ATCO Gas owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network, with over 750,000 connection points and 14,000km of pipelines. ATCO also operates two progressive power generation stations - in Adelaide and the Pilbara.Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Management Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting financial decision-making, driving business performance and ensuring financial integrity across the organisation.What You'll Do:Provide financial advice and insights to ensure the business stays aligned with best practices and on track.Lead the month-end process, ensuring accurate cost and revenue analysis for timely financial reporting.Manage budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with teams to identify trends and provide meaningful insights.Work closely with operational managers to update forecasts and understand key financial drivers.Oversee cost allocation for OPEX & CAPEX, ensuring smooth operations and reviewing indirect costs and labour rates.Exposure & ExperienceQualifications:Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA or CA accreditation.Background:2-3 years experience in similar roleProven ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data, providing actionable insights and strategic guidance.Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and financial reporting.Advanced skills in SAP and financial reporting tools.Exceptional people and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence others, and engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.Why ATCO Australia? Always there.
